The Independent newspaper posted an online article today that predicted a bright future for the Hallyu Wave in the UK.

The article briefly covers the MBC Korean Festival that took place on the 23rd of June at IndigO2 in London as well as SHINee’s performance at the London Korean Film Festival last year.

The fact that tickets were sold out rapidly and that the three K-pop acts involved gained an explosive response from fans in attendance clearly has not go unnoticed by British journalists.

The writer also noted that this event is likely to not be the last of K-pop related shows held in the UK!

The fact that the MBC event and the SHINee concert he was mentioned here can be taken as a small indication of the mark the Hallyu Wave is leaving on Great Britain.

(Even if the author mis-spelled “Norazo” as “Nazaro”…!)

Let’s hope their predictions are correct!
