Full INFINITE “One Great Step” Tour List.

During their Google+ Hangout event on June 10th, 7 member idol group Infinite announced London to be a confirmed stop on their upcoming world tour, “One Great Step”.

A previous announcement from Woolim Ent had stated that lucky fans from different countries would receive personal calls to confirm a stop in their country. UK resident Lucy Blackett was one of the lucky inspirits to receive the call, confirming a visit to London in November.

I’m not a huge fan of INFINITE but I’m glad that they’re coming here, anyway. It seems like more idol groups are coming to the UK to perform, which is in turn encouraging more companies to bring their artists here! ^^

two top stops in Europe for any Kpop events/concerts/activities which are Paris and London. fans in any other places than those 2 will either wait eternally or go to those 2 instead. more possible stops if any, it will always be in Germany, Spain and/or Russia.

In the past 2 years Kpop industry have done trial and error in Europe and South American. It has proved to them that Paris and London are the places in Europe, As for South America, Peru (1st priority), Chile, Brazil and Argentina have been confirmed to be the places. In the past few years Peruvian Kpop fans did perfect petitions to lure Kpop industry to send their artists to Peru. After a number of trial and error, it is firmly believed by Kpop industry that Peru is the place in SA if they want to hold any Kpop concerts in SA. It is pretty clear from now on Peru is on the Kpop overseas concert map. A similarity has happened in Paris (France) and London (the UK).

Basically if you want to have Kpop concerts regularly and frequently held in your regions or regions near you. Three fundamental requirement must be met that are
    – Profit
    – Popularity
    – Reputation.

I am not going into details of all 3. Nevertheless, If you live in a place where can fulfill all of them or at least 1 or 2 of the 3, then you may get your Kpop concerts. Otherwise, you will have to wait eternally or go to those places mentioned above.

I’m from the US and I can tell you a lot. I know that K-pop is mainstream in Mexico and all of Latin/South America. It’s also mainstream in the Middle East/North Africa. It’s also mainstream in Eastern Europe (Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, etc). I’ve been monitoring K-pop in western Europe for quite a while and I can tell you that K-pop is starting to get more mainstream in Western Europe meaning UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain K-pop is starting to get more mainstream attention in those area. So yes, I think K-pop can break it big in Western Europe. K-pop fandom is rising in US, but not at a mainstream level. I talked to K-pop fans both in US and UK/European and I can tell you this: It’s difficult for K-pop artists/groups to break into the US music market (Wonder Girls did came close to that), but they can break it big in Europe because Europeans are more open and tolerant to foreign music then Americans are. I remember reading an article on Korea.net saying European love K-pop because of the energies in them, and a interview with SHINee said that European don’t have dancing idols like K-pop does so that also give K-pop an advantage in Europe. If I was a K-pop companies and K-pop wants to break it into a western countries, I would start with Europe.
