Bringing us up to date with our chart is September Week 3, and it seems the latest Korean artists to visit the UK have influenced our chart.

Jay Park played the Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday and it sure seems UK Jaywalkers like Joah as it tops the chart.

Supporting Jay was Victor, and they certainly made an impression as Mr. Right from their V-Up single is a new entry straight in at #2. Following the show Victor featured in one of our Get The Look articles, male or female you too could get yourself one of Victor’s looks, at high street prices.

We see the re-entry of Lee Seung Chul’s My Love into the top 10. The Superstar K judge has been in the industry for over twenty three years and this track comes from his 11th Korean album as a solo artist.

4Minute’s Is It Poppin’? has climbed an impressive 9 places to #3! Also an impressive jump into the top 10 is Lee Hyori’s Bad Girls which moves 8 places to #9, though Miss Korea falls 24 places to #31.

BTOB might have fallen down a few places with Second Confession but their newest track Thriller manages to enter the chart at #38.
BTS have achieved a triple chart placing as their new title track N.O places at #26, with We Are Bullet Proof Part 2 climbing 3 to #18 and No More Dream a none mover at #29. BTS are another group we’ve featured in our Get The Look articles, see how you can get their No More Dream image on the high street.

The chart is based on real numbers and solid facts, using a simple combination of complex formulae to find out the best of the best in the UK for K-Pop. Similar to the Korean charts, the UK K-Pop Chart uses sales numbers, votes from the fans and broadcast exposure, to calculate automatically without bias, the Top 40 K-Pop singles and albums in the UK.

If you’re curious about how the chart works there are some interesting facts over on our UKP Chart page, here you can find out how the chart is compiled and, if you’ve got your thinking cap on, there’s even some maths in there!

This weeks chart does not include votes, however we are working towards bringing this feature to the site as soon as we can so that you can have even more influence on the chart right here!
