Finally, events in not London for the rest of us! We’re here today with two events coming up, both Korean language exchange meet ups; one in Birmingham and another in Edinburgh. Keep reading for more info.

BIRMINGHAM

A fun language exchange for people interested in the Korean language.

Everyone is welcome whether you are a native speaker or a complete beginner. We usually start in Starbucks for a coffee and then end up having some food or a pint 😛

Hopefully meet you all soon 🙂

This coming Wednesday (March 5th) the language exchange group will meet at Starbucks on New Street at 7pm. As mentioned, all levels of Korean speakers are welcome to join!

The exchange group was founded by Alan Newton in September of last year, and has since held 6 successful language exchanges. You can check out the event page on Meetup, here.

EDINBURGH

Just come along to have a chat with old friends as well as new ones. I am sure you will find us a friendly bunch.

Edinburgh’s meet-up group runs on the first Thursday of every month, and will be meeting again this coming Thursday (March 6th) at 8pm at Au Bar – look for a Korean flag!

Run by Yan, the ‘Edinkore’ exchange group has been running since August 2012, with 16 successful exchange events under their belt. Check out their event page here.

Whichever of the two you attend, it’s sure to be a great time. Make sure to sign up to Meetup and join the Meet pages to stay up to date with their next events. Meetup is also a great way to find other language exchanges, and to start your own.

Running your own language exchanges? Let us know and we’ll spread the word!
