The hit Korean drama that’s drawn great interest on an international scale is set to be appearing on screens in Greece this month! The popular show starred Song Joong-ki, Song Hye-kyo, Jin Goo, and Kim Ji-won, with the story that won over millions surrounded around the blossoming relationship between the star crossed characters which include the special forces captain and an army surgeon during the story’s ongoing war.

It was announced that by the Korean Embassy in Greece TV100, a non-state Greek TV channel from Thessaloniki, will air the Korean drama from December 7. This will mark the first time that the ‘Descendants of the Sun’ will be aired in Europe!

For those interested in watching the show in Greece, the show will span across 19 weeks which will include a bonus of three special episodes of staff interviews and behind-the-scenes footage. The drama will air at 9pm every Wednesday, with reruns at 4:30 p.m. on Sundays.

Earlier in the year, the BBC covered the global success gained of the drama. By the looks of things, perhaps one day we could be seeing ‘Descendants of the Sun’ in the UK?
