Nam Joo Hyuk left for Paris on the 10th of August for the DIOR HOMME photoshoot. The Bride of the Water God actor, flew with YG Manager, Kim Yeon Seong and has been seen venturing around the city since.
Mr. Kim has since then been updating the fans with Nam Joo Hyuk’s latest activities in Paris through his personal Instagram. Examples of their adventures can be seen below:
Nam Joo Hyuk has had the opportunity to visit famous sites such as the Eiffel Tower (which he posted a picture of recently on his personal Instagram as well as the Louvre.
The YG actor has garnered a lot of attention since his appearance as the main male lead in the popular drama, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, alongside his YG co-star/girlfriend, Lee Sung Kyung. Funnily enough, Nam Joo Hyuk left for his photoshoot on Lee Sung Kyung’s birthday – Hopefully they were able to celebrate her birthday before he departed for Paris!
Since Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, Nam Joo Hyuk has received another lead role for the drama, The Bride of the Water God. In this drama, he plays the Water God alongside the female lead, played by Shin Se Kyung. The drama is currently airing and is due to be completed by the end of August (for a total of 16 episodes).
The star is also currently preparing for his role in his first movie, Ansi Fortress (working title) alongside co-stars, Jo In Sung, AOA’s Seolhyun and Park Sung Woong. The historical film follows the 88-day battle between Yang Manchun opposing the invasion of the 5,000 Tang Dynasty troops who attempted to capture the fortress. It portrays the Siege of Ansi which took place on the Korean peninsula between Gorguryeo and the Tang Dynasty forces in the year 645.
