2018 has already been an exciting year for BIGBANG’s Seungri. The singer has been signed to headline Liquid State, a new EDM label launched by Sony Music Entertainment and Tencent Music Entertainment on the 31st January in Hong Kong. His first venture in to the Chinese movie scene was also announced, with the release of “Love Only” set for March 2nd in theatres across China. But that’s not all, he has now released a collaboration with British-Norwegian DJ and music producer, Alan Walker, as an OST for “Love Only”!

The song itself is a remake of Alan Walker’s previously released single “Faded” and is sung by Seungri in both Chinese and English! Listening through and watching the accompanying video, the track is more lighthearted and upbeat than the original, and is perfect for the summer. It can be noted that the initial version has almost 1.5 billion views on YouTube and is one of the most streamed songs of all time on Spotify.

Seungri has also revealed that he is preparing for a solo comeback as well! This will mark the first time that he has released new material since his Korean and Japanese album releases in 2013. With Seungri now present in the world of EDM, especially after establishing his own label dedicated to the genre, we could see more collabs with other renowned DJs in the future!
