He did it! He finally did it! After weeks and weeks of following PSY’s progress from viral hit to international superstardom, we can now say that Gangnam Style has made it to the Number 1 spot on the Official UK Top 40 Singles chart! It was announced today just before 7pm on BBC Radio 1’s Official Chart Show by DJ Reggie Yates. PSY even sent Reggie a special message thanking everyone in the UK and Radio 1 for supporting him and buying his single.
Now I think we should all watch it one more time to celebrate:

The question now is, will he come to the UK as he promised to Scott Mills on Radio 1? We definitely hope so! Are you excited that a K-pop song is actually in the number 1 spot on the UK charts?
