Post-military service pop-punk rockers Rocket Diary returned in 2013 as electro-rock group We Are The Night. The recognisable brushed silver of an Apple Macbook on stage with a formerly true-to-genre noisy emotive rock group certainly caused split opinion but three years on We Are The Night are still going strong.
It might have been a daring move, but for We Are The Night (Ham Byung Sun [Goosy]: vocals; Chong Won Joong [Lil FISH]: guitar & percussion; Hwang Seong Su [Phatty.H]: bass & synthesiser; Philip Ham [Scooz]: synthesiser; and Kim Boram [Ram]: drums) it was a project group that paid off.
Extending their skills this year the group are working on producing more elements of their music, through mixing and producing their tracks, and even filming their own music videos.
The group will play three shows in the UK later this month.
