There’s plenty of ongoing events happening this week across the country, from classical music to KPop fairs. This week may be more arts focused, but there is such a wide variety of styles that you are sure to find something that you can enjoy! What events will we be seeing you at?

With Edinburgh Fringe Festival going on, there’s plenty of acts there that will interest those fascinated by Korean performance arts. Kim Aeran will be performing his “Goliath in the Water” dance performance from August 13-26, and there’s a chance to see a Korean retelling of Shakespeare’s Macbeth and the traditional Korean band Gypsy Sanjaru until August 26th!

Saturday 24th August is the date set for the return of the 1on1 events and Radio Kimchi K-Pop fair! Held at the O2 Academy Islington, guests can select between two different time slots; 12-2pm or 3-5pm. For a £6 entry fee, you’ll be able to snag your favourite idol’s CDs, posters, photocards and much more at a reasonable price. Gone are the days of waiting for the postman to deliver your merchandise! You can buy tickets here.

Once you’ve finished all of your shopping, why not wind down with some classical music? Seong-Jin Cho will be performing as part of the BBC Proms, playing pieces written by Rachmaninov, Prokofiev and Silvestri on Saturday 24th August at the famous Royal Albert Hall. The Proms always feel special, and we are sure that this concert will not be any different! Starting at 7.30pm and ending at around 10.00pm, tickets can be found for as little as £9.50.
