It was released earlier this month that indie artists The Barberettes and Sultan of the Disco are included in the line-up for the K-Music Showcase this coming May 23rd 2017 at The Borderline in London. The event will run from 7pm11pm and tickets are available are £15, if you’re interested then you can find out more information here.

This isn’t the first time both groups have come over to the UK, with The Barberettes performing on The One Show in 2015 as well as at the London K-Festival during the same year. Following on, the trio were also part of the headliners for Brighton’s Great Escape Festival in 2016, which shows the support and recognition that they have received both in the UK and Europe!

Back in 2014, the Sultan of the Disco was included as one the acts who played at the well-known Glastonbury festival. BBC reporter Mark Savage was full of praise for the South Korean group, saying that they were one of the best band at the Glastonbury 2014.  Their popularity continued to grow, especially from their infectious performances which encouraged their audiences to dance along with them.

With both making appearances in this event and others in the UK, such as The Great Escape in Brighton and Sound City in Liverpool, are you planning on going seeing them in May?
