SNSD recently attracted the attention of  The Guardian. As we know, it’s not the first time that The Guardian has published about Kpop, but this is the first time that Kpop has made it into their newspaper (I think).

The Guardian introduced SNSD and talked about the K-pop boom in Japan not only in their paper but on their site too with an article titled, ‘Girls’ Generation lead K-pop invasion
of Japan.’

The article talks about the differences in Kpop and Jpop and the opinions of the Jpop stars about Kpop. An editor of a Japanese magazine also gives his thoughts on the matter, ending his point by saying that if anyone from Asia were to become internationally successful, it would be a Kpop act.
