Many British news outlets have stated how, where K-Pop is concerned, acts from mainly YG Entertainment and SM Entertainment will have a chance of success on the Western front, but these results show that European fans have a lot of love to give K-Pop acts from the much smaller agencies too. We can see a very broad range in taste here which shows the European listeners to be very open-minded.
It seems that the love doesn’t stop at K-Pop either. It is clear that K-Dramas and OSTs also hold a lot of popularity here.
You may have also noted that BIGBANG /G-Dragon won quite a few of the accolades. This bodes very well for the scheduled concerts at Wembley Arena this coming weekend!
