So you may have heard about the Japanese food court which opened in Japan Centre in Panton Street (by Leicester Square) in Central London, or even the Asian food hall called Bang Bang Oriental Food Hall located in Colindale, North London. But let us introduce to you the latest food destination, better known as Mee Market! Mee Market is the newest food deli which brings to you Korean cuisine with an authentic touch.

Linda Lee (best known for Koba and On The Bab), is the genius behind the idea. Mee Market which just opened on the 4th of December intends to bring you the traditional Korean ‘table and market’ concept to Soho. With its sleek, trendy and minimal design, the concept of the Mee Market is divided across two floors, ranging from a floor which offers hot food as well as cold food, available to eat in and takeaway – All made accessible just for you! Examples of food on offer include the likes of hot Asian stews, hotpot, Korean poke bowls with a salad bar, and so much more. But it doesn’t end there, the lower ground offers a retail space where you can expect to find a range of houseware products, accessories, stationery as well as 18-seat dining hall – Maybe now’s your chance to grab some Korean burdock root tea or maybe you’re a green tea kind of person?

The restaurateur and entrepreneur also intends to incorporate some of her signature dishes from her other restaurants, Koba and On The Bab which have been successful in London. In particular, her restaurant, On The Bab has already got 4 branches of its own – Highly recommend grabbing the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) at On The Bab if you haven’t already!

FUN FACT: What’s super unique about Mee Market is that they have their very own customised rice dispenser which offers white and brown rice – So what’s not to love?

On the other hand, Mee Market also offers a grocer which sells Korean and Asian inspired dry food, a wide range of Asian fresh vegetables right from the counter, as well as a frozen Asian food section which allows customers to purchase ready-made meals – This is great for those who don’t have a lot of time to cook but are craving some Asian food!

Whilst its convenient, the main focus of Mee Market is to provide customers with a desired destination to enjoy your lunch or dinner in a compact, contemporary interior. You can be guaranteed good quality, trendy food to your desires!

Best yet, Mee Market also provides the customers with some helpful advice. You’ll find recipe cards on the site, which aim to inspire you with your food creations whilst being able to get all your ingredients right in front of your eyes.

So now’s your chance! Why not go and take a trip to Soho’s newest Korean food deli located 9a Archer St, W1D 7AX!
