For anyone living within or near the Sheffield area, there’s an exciting event coming up in just over a month’s time! This infusion event will bring together the two worlds of Korean traditional and modern together and it’s set to be taking place on Sunday March 11 at the Octagon Centre, University of Sheffield. This is a sponsored event by the Korean Cultural Centre which is in London.

What can you expect at this event? There will be stations displaying Korean food, you’ll have the opportunity to try on traditional Hanbok and take pictures to remember your day. There’ll also be a professional Korean Make Up artist, who will be giving demonstrations and give all the helpful tips and secrets of K-Beauty. In addition, you’ll find there will be traditional Korean games, professionally taught calligraphy and also professional traditional musicians and dancers! It all sounding to be a promising day that you won’t want to miss out on!

K-Pop Cover Competition: UK Region

• Aged over 16 can apply to take part in the competition
• UK Region: Singing & Dancing Competition

Online Applications must be received by Sun 25 Feb 2018

• Upload your video of you performing a K-Pop song or K-Pop cover dance on Youtube. (Note: No longer than 5 minutes.)
• Complete the application form including the YouTube link to your video and then send it via email to kpopsoc@sheffield.ac.uk

The successful applicants will be contacted individually via email.

Prize for the Winners (1 singing and 1 dance performance team): Gifts (K-POP goods)
