The South Korean brand, Sewing Boundaries comes to London for the first time for a pop-up store. The store known as Concept Store Y is located in Old Street Station in Unit 2. The Korean Streetwear brand was first established by the Korean fashion designer, Ha Dong-Ho.

In 2013, Sewing Boundaries presented their first fashion week in Seoul and since then have continued to grow in popularity as a brand. The brand has been worn by the likes of many stars. This includes BTS, Monsta X, HyunA as well as other Korean stars. The two-piece worn by BTS’ V (seen below) is one of the many clothing pieces featured at the Concept Store Y pop-up.

Ha-Dong Ho, the fashion designer of Sewing Boundaries describes the brand as genderless. The aim is to provide clothing which suits all genders, which is why all pieces are unisex. He integrates the concepts of everyday life into his designs.

In an interview with Concept Store Y he described Sewing Boundaries as:

SWBD literally means to link the boundaries with a needle. This name is the philosophy of the [sic]brand: sewing and linking pieces together to create something new. The brand aims to create a connecting link between the different generations, between old and modern, and it is a unisex brand that goes beyond gender. – Ha Dong-Ho, 2018

Fans of the actor, Kim Woo-Bin will be happy to find that he is also particularly close to the designer. Whilst Kim Woo-Bin has worked as the main model numerous times for his fashion shows, the pair have known each other for many years.
