TheEastLight are a six member band under Media Line Entertainment that debuted in 2016. The group is made up of: leader/drummer/ DJ Lee Seok Cheol, vocalist/keyboardist Lee Eun Sung, bassist Lee Sung Hyun, guitarist Kim Jun Wook, vocalist/guitarist Jeong Sa Gang and vocalist/keyboardist Lee Woo Jin.

The oldest member of the group – Seok Chul, is eighteen years old. Woo Jin is the maknae at just fifteen!

Many of the members worked hard to get exposure before their debut. Jun Wook appeared on ‘Star King’ when he thirteen, showing off his guitar skills. Eun Sung had a cameo in the 2013 drama series ‘Monstar’, and Seok Cheol in the film ‘My Boy’ (2014). Eun Sung, Woo Jin and Sa Gang were all contestants on ‘Voice Kids Korea’ and Sa Gang also participated in ‘Superstar K3’.

So far, they have one EP entitled ‘Six Senses’ that was released in July 2017. They also have four single albums, which feature other songs, remixes and instrumentals. ‘Love Is…’ features a single and extended version by Woo Jin and Sa Gang only.

Despite their relatively new status, they have already released eight music videos and four special videos which include a lyric video, a ‘one take’ video and remixes of songs.

The guys have also done their fair share of appearances after their debut too. Sa Gang presents a game show, Woo Jin finished 34th on the second season of ‘Produce 101’ and Eun Sung an Sa Gang competed and won on the programme ‘I Can See Your Voice’.

The group have a real pop sound with a tonne of energy to spare, but they have also experimented with different styles. They are fresh-faced, cute and have a lot of musical talent to boot.

Even if you aren’t a fan of their music, their covers are definitely worth checking out. They have given their own twist to the works of BTS, Ed SheeranJustin Bieber and more.
