A week has flown by since BLACKPINK’s comeback and the records have been piling in like crazy. Just this week on Monday, the girls had an interview with BBC Radio 1 presenter Scott Mills. He opened up the invitation that they visit the studio when they arrive in the UK for the European leg of their World Tour next month. Since then, they also spoke on Capital with Jimmy Hill on Wednesday in promotion of ‘Kill This Love‘.

BBC Radio 1, one of the biggest broadcasting stations in the UK, made the announcement during the Top 40 chart that BLACKPINK made their debut at #33, meaning that this would be their highest peaking song on an official UK chart and the first record made by a girl group. They previously featured on the official chart last year with ‘DDu Du DDu Duwhich peaked at #78.

[UPDATE] The Official Chart has been refreshed and BLACKPINK have two entries on the chart, including #33 for their song ‘Kill This Love‘ and #40 for the album chart. You can check out the chartings here.

Congratulations on this achievement to BLACKPINK and we wish them good luck for their first performance at Coachella today!
