B1A4’s lead singer Sandeul returned last week with his first EP since 2016’s Stay As You Are. A polished, mature release, it showcased the singer’s unique colour and talent with a variety of song styles, as well as through immense vocal performances.

In terms of highlights, they come thick and fast. From the sleek, cozy titular track “One Fine Day” right to the jazzy, almost minimalistic “Obligue Line,” there is something for everyone, and it rings evident that this is a musician who is slowly but surely reaching his apex as a solo artist.

Additionally, this mini-album seems to be a personal, introspective one for the 28-year-old. With stories of hope told on tracks such as “Stay As You Are,” it makes for compelling listening, and creates a project that shows the artist’s personal growth, as well as his musical development.

Overall, it appears that the sky is the limit for Sandeul. Thanks to a diverse and expanding catalogue of sublimely composed songs, there’s no preventing the singer from reaching the top of the mountain. And, despite upcoming military enlistment, there isn’t a doubt that there will be plenty of fans eagerly waiting for whatever is next upon his return.

What do you think? Did you enjoy Sandeul’s comeback? Let us know in the comments.
