A new event being held at SOAS University of London aims to see North Korea through the eyes of North Koreans!
Bandi, the pen-name of a resistance writer based in North Korea, will have his works showcased and discussed at length. His works – fiction and poetry – are a parody and criticism of the regime he lives under.
Jihyun Park from Connect North Korea, as well as two other refugees from North Korea, will discuss their own experiences. They will talk about life under the secretive regime in the hopes of shedding some light on what it’s like to live there.
