Ever wondered what your favourite artists are listening to? Do they have any musical guilty pleasures? Now, ARMYs can get into the musical mind of three of Bangtan’s members; Rap Monster, J-Hope and Suga, as Big Hit has released three personally curated playlists on Spotify.
As well as being one of the top male groups, BTS have always shared their music as well as make it. On social media platform, Twitter, the boys have always posted snapshots of what song is currently blasting through their smartphones and recommending new artists from both South Korea and internationally.
Rap Monster’s playlist, dubbed “Heavy Rotations” has been highly anticipated as he has been sharing his own music tastes with the hashtag, #RMusic. His choices range from smooth R’n’B classics, chilled indie tracks and a few well known artists such as Eminem, Drake and Radiohead.
J-Hope’s “JAM” could be suggested as a reflection of himself; with up-tempo beats you can dance out to and a few little fun surprises sprinkled in such as Ai Otsuka and surprisingly, this little number from UK boy band, Blue.
Finally, Suga’s “Hip-Hop Replay” is exactly what it says in the title, especially with his love for hard-hitting rap and his own work both as BTS rapper and with his alias, Agust D. Expect some classics to bob along to including T.I, Eminem, Kanye West and the legend that is Notorious B.I.G.
