Try saying that out loud 5 times, ey? It’s ok, I can’t do it either.

Despite the mouthful of a name, this is a wonderful product which I’ve been using for years. The packaging is, as per usual with Etude: cute, pretty and a tad over the top on the whole pink.. thing.. Not that I’m judging – I challenge you to find a more girly-girl than yours truly. Etude House is like a Candyland on a white fluffy cloud in Heaven for me!

But, on to the actual review.

The Lovely Cookie Blusher comes in 10 different colours, ranging from #1 – Strawberry Mousse, to #10 – Pitch Parfait. This gives you a rather large variety to choose from, and I recommend you figure out which colour scheme best suits you: pink or orange, and then move on to chose your exact shade. I have over the years tried #2 as well as #5, but currently I’m the proud owner of #6, Grapefruit Jelly, and #10.

The peachy shade #10 is perfect for an everyday, natural look. I tend to apply it under my cheekbones, shading them a bit and creating a nice contour on my face. The pink colour is great for a more fun, bright look, and goes well on the apples of your cheeks.

The blush comes with a cute fluffy pillow brush, which I’ve quite promptly exchanged for my own Bubbi Blush Brush, however it is completely fine to use if you lack other tools. With a bit of practice, you should still be able to achieve a nice blended look, even with the brush following along. If not, using your index and middle finger works perfectly well.

The reason why I’m still swearing to this product after all my years of experimenting with other brands and products? After collecting a total of 11 blushes in my make-up drawers? This is still my go-to in the morning rush. The products I trust to keep me looking fresh and pretty all day, without needing to bring them with me and “pop by the loo to freshen up”. These babies stay faithful to me and my skin – how could I possibly leave them for someone else?

As for price, I find the same goes for this as most other Korean products: Steaper than some products you may fins in Superdrug or Boots’ cheaper isles – but so much more value for your money.

Best feature: Variety of colours and lasting hold.

Worst feature: Fluffy brush – better for viewing than using.

Will you be adding this product to your make-up collection?

Which shade is your favourite?
