Hi everyone!

So this week I’ve decided to head back to basics, with a classic beautiful Korean Make-up look, similar to the popular Ulzzang style. Let’s see how to achieve Na Eun’s sparkly eyes from A-Pink’s Hush MV:

I’ve tried something a bit new with this tutorial, where the video is simply showing the steps and I’ll explain in further detail below here. Let me know if you prefer this to how I’ve done before with the voice overs!

Starting out, I’m taking care of my dry lips, making sure they’re nice and moisturised.

I’ve already primed my face, but I’m using a concealer stick for my dark circles as well as any red spots. Taking a small brush, or just using your fingers, blend it out a bit. It doesn’t have to be perfect, the BB cream will go over and even everything out.
I’m using the Aqua Petit Jelly BB cream from Holika Holika, taking a generous amount onto the back of my hand, I’m using a foundation brush to blend it onto my face, starting from the middle and working my way out for a nice even coverage.
If you have anything left by the end, just dab it between your fingers and use them to smooth any creases left by the brush. Use your ring finger when working around your eye area, to avoid abusing them and being too harsh.

Next, as always, it’s time for the brows. Na Eun’s brows aren’t all that dominating in this look, and she’s gone for a rather natural brow, so start by grooming the hairs with a small brush. I’ve also decided to use powder for this, as it creates a softer finish and doesn’t end up looking too harsh. Focus on the midst of your brow, the highest point, and work your way backwards and to the front. Angle them slightly, but try to create a nice soft arch instead of a pointed one. Finish off by brushing the hairs a bit again to make sure to erase any harsh edges.

To start off the eyes, I’m using a nude pale eye shadow all over my lid. This helps avoid any creasing from the bb cream, and works as a base.
Next I’m using my Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick, to line under my eyes. This is a very classic trick in Korean make-up to brighten under the eyes. I’m bringing the line up slightly longer than my actual eye, and brightening the inner corners as well.

For the eyeliner, I’m just going to tightline my eyes. This is a great way to make it look like you’re not wearing eye liner, and making the lashes appear thicker. I’m taking my pencil liner, and using the back of a brush, I’m lifting my lid, and lining the upper waterline, as close to the lashes as possible, almost to the point of colouring the lashes themselves.

Now, taking a thin angled brush and a warm brown shade, I’m creating a very gentle wing, using the lower lashline as a guide. Once I have the wing, I fill it in slightly by blending it in towards the lid, creating a nice upward V shape.

To add a bit of extra spark, I’m taking my Clio glitter eyeliner, and adding it on top of the pale gold from earlier. Then, choose any mascara you prefer, and focus it on the upper lashes, getting as little as possible on your lower lashes. If you bend your head backwards a bit, that should make it easier.
Clean out any black marks using a q-tip.

For the cheeks, I’ve used a peach blush for a nice natural look, and a highlighter all over the heights of my face, creating a really nice glowwy effect.

Na Eun’s lips are a very nice soft pink, so I’m taking a base matte colour from Etude, and a simple blanc gloss over it for a little bit of shine.

That’s if for this time! Remember to let me know in the comments if there’s anything you’d like to see me do next time, and how you like my looks so far! Have a good week!
