A new East Asian BBQ restaurant is coming to London very soon. What makes this place more exciting is that it doubles up as an Anju bar too. Interested?
The creation of Bó Drake stems from many factors for former Roka restaurant alumni, Jan Lee. He was inspired by his Asian travels, his upbringing here in the UK (especially going to the family kitchen), his Chinese background and meeting his South Korean wife who introduced him to the adventurous world of Korean cuisine.
As it is an East Asian BBQ restaurant that does not limit itself to a specific cuisine, Bó Drake is definitely going to have a variety of dishes on the menu. In addition to South East Asian cuisine that dabbles with the likes of Chinese and Japanese, there will certainly be Korean food such as the kimchi and potato pancake and spicy buckwheat noodles to try out. The food’s price range will possibly start from £7 to £18, depending by what you order in terms of starters and mains. The bar area of Bó Drake will follow Anju style and offer popular drinks such as Soju to compliment the food.
A possible contender to Judy Joo’s Jinjuu Bó Drake is located at 6 Greek Street in the heart of Soho and will open around mid-December.
