It’s been revealed that there are plans being made for the winning team from the JTBC X YG show ‘MIXNINE’ to embark on a world tour once they’ve officially made their debut in April next year!
It looks like once the contestants from the competition has been wilted down to 18, split into two equal teams consisting of 9 girls and 9 boys respectively, we’ll either be seeing a new girl or boy group from this show. It’ll be interesting to see how they’ll fit into the YG concepts or if they’ll gain success from a fresh and new style.
And also whether they’ll be able to make an impact in the K-Pop industry as looking at the success from groups being born from survival shows such as I.O.I and WANNA ONE, we’ll have to watch this space to wait and see for ourselves!
While there’s still discussions being made in preparation for this tour, it has been confirmed that there will be 15 cities included and will span from Asia to the US and even Europe! There’s also a chance that it will expand to 20 to 30 more cities as interest for the winning group continues to grow!
