The musically versatile girl group hailing from SM Entertainment dropped their summer comeback album ‘Summer Magic‘ today on August 6! The ladies have exhibited their own well versed portfolio of music, charming their fans with both the ‘Red’ and ‘Velvet’ sides musically.
Red Velvet has successfully established themselves as being one of the Korean hottest girl groups dominating the charts, both on their own home turf and on a global scale. For their latest comeback, they’ve currently achieved 23 #1‘s, including taking the top spots in Finland, Greece, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Sweden.
While there is certainly no shortage of K-Pop groups on the scene, there is a select amount who make it into the Top 10 over here in the UK. And now, Red Velvet have managed to break through that wall for the first time and thus making them the second highest charting Korean girl group on the UK chart! Currently, the album has peaked at #9, which only goes to show how much growth their European fanbase has made since the girls’ last promotions early on this year.
