[NEWS] BLACKPINK mentioned on BBC’s Woman’s Hour

BLACKPINK has been getting a lot of press recently since the release of their new EP ‘KILL THIS LOVE’ and their performance at Coachella.

On Friday, the group were mentioned on BBC’s podcast Woman’s Hour.

The podcast was hosted by Jane Garvey who discussed the group and Kpop in general with a variety of guests. The guests included Kpop dance instructor Tammy Jane Mejia, music journalist and Kpop fan Biju Belinky, and Dr Haekyung Um who is a senior lecturer in Music at the University of Liverpool and an expert on Kpop.

The guests discussed a myriad of topics related to the genre such as the definition of Kpop, Kpop concepts, choreography and the continuous growth of the genre.
