26,000 copies of Map of the Soul: Persona were recorded to have sold, 68% of which is from physical copies. This is yet another record for the seven-member Kpop group, as they are now the first Kpop group to top the official UK Albums Chart.
As well as this, the group’s title track, Boy With Luv, reached no.13 on the official UK Singles Chart. This is their highest UK ranking yet, and their first in the Top 20.
If BTS continues to be as successful as they are now, it seems that a no.1 on the official UK Singles Chart will reach their way in the future.
