In its seventh year, MTV Hottest has revealed the 50 artists in the running for MTV Hottest Summer Superstar. With Kpop making a name for itself in the West, it is no surprise to see BTS and BLACKPINK on the list.
To vote, you can cast votes on Twitter by using the hashtags “#MTVHottest BTS” or “#MTVHottest BLACKPINK”. You can keep up to date on the current standings on MTV’s website here.
As of now, BTS lead the rankings, followed by Lady Gaga in second place and BLACKPINK in third. Other nominees include Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Little Mix, Cardi B, and Shawn Mendes.
Voting closes on August 19th and the winner will be revealed on August 24th.
