The world’s biggest group dropped their first English single ‘Dynamite‘ on August 21, their dedicated fan-base ARMY’s had evidently been preparing for the group’s third official comeback of the year following the release of ‘Map of the Soul: 7‘ and ‘Map of the Soul: 7 ‘ The Journey‘ on February 21 and July 14 respectively.

BTS holds the current title for the highest number of views in 24 hours for a M/V, having been confirmed at 101.1 million views recorded in a single day and broke the previous record held for the biggest YouTube premiere record at over 3 million viewers. The single ‘Dynamite‘ is credited to be written by UK based producers David Stewart and Jessica Agombar’ and it has reportedly peaked in 104 countries at #1 including on the UK and US iTunes chart!

It has been revealed they have broken their previous record with ‘Dynamite’ marking their first Top 10 features on the UK Official Singles Chart at #3 and #6 on the Irish Official Singles Chart. On the Scottish Singles Chart however, they continue to make history with being the first Korean boy group to peak at #1!

BTS’ previously held records charting singles in the Top 40 includes ‘Boy with Luv‘ featuring Halsey at #13 in 2019 followed by ‘On‘ and ‘Idol‘ in 2020 and 2018 respectively both at #21. The group also have 2 albums ‘Map of the Soul – Persona‘ and ‘Map of the Soul: 7‘ in the UK that hit #1.
