As the week rolls to a close, the UK’s official charts have refreshed for a new week.
One week has passed since the release of BLACKPINK’s collaborative single ‘Ice Cream‘ with American artist Selena Gomez. While there has been mixed reactions over the track itself, it has performed well on the iTunes chart as it received 46 #1‘s globally.

The single ‘Ice Cream‘ is reported to have featured at #39, #20 and #33 on the UK, Scottish and Irish singles charts respectively. This is the third time BLACKPINK have made appearances on the UK charts with the Lady Gaga collaboration single ‘Sour Candy‘ being their highest peak to date at #17, followed closely by their last comeback track ‘How You Like That‘ at #20.
With the countdown to the release of BLACKPINK’s upcoming album planned for early next month, marking it as their technical fourth comeback this year, it’s a wonder whether they will continue this streak next year.
