Eight years has passed since the debut of BTS, who have cemented their place in the international music industry particularly during the second half of their careers. The group has evidently transitioned from being a rising group with catchy songs to being recognised as a global household name.

It often brings up the question, seeing how much success they have achieved thus far, what else would be next on their agenda? On July 27 2021, BTS made their debut on the popular performance segment of BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge with a special feature cover of the 1997 hit song from Puff Daddy and Faith Evans’ ‘I’ll Be Missing You‘ and of course their own chart-topping tracks ‘Dynamite‘ and ‘Permission to Dance‘.

BTS has been a consistent feature on the UK’s Official Chart with their recent installments to their discography this year ‘Butter’ and ‘Permission to Dance’ reaching the respective peak positions of #3 and #16.

In case you missed the annoucement, they are set to make a feature guest appearance tonight on BBC 1 for ‘BTS @ Radio 1’ at 10:35pm where you will also be able to catch another chance at seeing BTS’ performance again. If you miss it tonight, don’t worry as you will be able to watch it on catch-up on BBC iPlayer too.

All three of the videos listed on the BBC Radio 1 YouTube channel has garnered over 10 million views together which you can check out below.
