Blackjacks all across the world are surely eagerly looking forward to 2NE1 leader CL‘s debut in the USA this year. It is clear that YG Entertainment and the lady herself are working hard to reach out to Western artists to work with alongside this American debut. It has been revealed that one of these artists is British band Florence and the Machine!
In case you are unfamiliar, Florence and the Machine are an Indie band known for their energetic and creative sound. They made a huge splash in the UK with their debut album back in 2009/10. Some of their best known songs include ‘Dog Days’ and ‘You’ve Got the Love’. They have had many award nominations over the few years that they have been active, winning a Critic’s Choice Award in 2009 and MasterCard British Album of the Year in 2010.
American producer Bobby Brackin has mentioned that he has been contacted by CL and that she has expressed an interest in working with the band in the near future. Brackin also mentioned his familiarity and love for CL, as well as acknowledging that this would indeed be an unusual collaboration.
