Temperatures are finally rising here in the UK as the anticipation for another possibly warm summer begins, and what better to get you into that mood is the incredibly catchy “Lo Siento” (Spanish for “I’m Sorry”) by Super Junior!

Incorporating an amazing crossover of Latin and Korean music cultures and languages, the single version of the track also features Latin pop star Leslie Grace. This marks the first time Super Junior have collaborated with a foreign pop star. But that’s not all, the digital edition of the supergroup’s album “Replay” also features another version of “Lo Siento” with vocals from Jiwoo and Somin of KARD! This variation of the song is the one that is currently being promoted on music shows.

Latin inspired music is becoming more popular with South Korean pop artists in their songs, with most notably KARD being at the helm of utilising the sound. The popularity in general is possibly in part due to the worldwide popularity of such songs as “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi, and “Mi Gente” by J Balvin and Willy William.

Are there any artists that you would like to see take on this genre of music?
