IU was photographed at Wembley Stadium yesterday dressed as a ‘red devil’, the name Korean football fans call themselves, to support the Republic of Korea Olympic football team as they played against Gabon. The singer is on a promotional trip to London on behalf the Samsung Galaxy and Note phone series and will be here for a few days taking part in promotional activities alongside a group of lucky competition winners who won the opportunity to travel to London with IU to support their national team.
Despite her nickname, Korea’s little sister, IU didn’t prove to be a lucky charm for the Korean team as they only managed a 0-0 draw. However on the whole the Republic of Korea is doing outstandingly well and is currently 3rd in the medal table! Korea fighting!
We believe that IU will remain in the UK over the next couple of days to continue her promotional activities although we are unaware what these activities are.
