You may have recently heard that the East Asia TV channel will not be going ahead after all (you can read an article on this at UK Anime Network for full details) but fear not. There’s another possible option to get your Kdrama fix.

Fans are most likely to be familiar with the New York-based website DramaFever as it’s highly reliable on streaming dramas and films and has licensing deals with three major Korean TV networks.

People in the US, Canada and Latin America are able to watch media for free or on premium subscription (the latter offering a smooth viewing with no adverts to distract) and on devices like iPad, iPhone, Roku and Android.

The good news for UK Hallyu fans is that DramaFever will be officially launched in the UK so hopefully there will be less of those messages where it says the content is not available in your country. As of right now it’ll be available on paid subscription only.
