Let’s bring SMTown to London! That’s the aim behind this week’s featured fanbase.
SMTown is an annual four-to-six hour concert that showcases performers from the SM Entertainment label. It includes artists like SHINEee, TVXQ!, (f)x, EXO, Super Junior and Girls Generation.
The SMTown World Tour in 2011 danced tantalisingly close to UK shores, as it was in Paris for two nights. SMTown London’s Facebook page opened in August 2012, about three months after SM Town’s Live World Tour II which didn’t come to Europe; it played in Asia and one date in the U.S (California). So surely London is due for an SMTown visit? After all, SM has brought artists to London before, as recently as Super Junior’s Super Show 5 last November.
Eight admins are listed on the Facebook page but Kyari seems to be the most active. She updates the Facebook and Twitter pages with news from SM artists, and any competitions she spots.
