Pluto is a movie which centres around the cut throat competition of school in Korea; the pressures to do well, and get into a top university. The movie explores the depths that people go to when pushed to the edge as the mystery behind the secret group of top students is unravelled through the eyes of Joon (David Lee).
Since its 2012 premiere, Pluto has been shown at a number of festivals around the world – including last year’s Edinburgh Film Festival. From Busan to Berlin, the film has been much enjoyed around the world and was nominated for two awards at the Hong Kong International Film Festival, and nominated for another award at the Berlin International Film Festival, of which Pluto won.
