BEAST, or B2ST as they are also known, are having an overwhelmingly awesome July, having scored 11 music show trophy wins for comeback release Good Luck.

The beastly six are Doojoon (leader/main vocals), Hyunseung (main vocals), Junhyung (rapper), Yoseob (main vocals), Gikwang (dancer/visual) and Dongwoon (maknae/vocals).

They debuted in October 2009 with Cube Entertainment, and have released two studio albums, Fiction and Fact (2011), and Hard to Love, How to Love (2013). Their fans are known as B2UTY. While they must have enjoyed supporting the guys in 2011’s United Cube Concert in London, UK B2UTYs had a very tough time in 2012, as the scheduled world tour – Beautiful Show – at the Hammersmith Apollo was cancelled. Here’s hoping the boys will plan to visit the UK again in the near future.

As well as the regular CDs, DVDs and concert goods, B2ST have some pretty inventive spin-off goods. There’s a sold-out comic book series based on the members – take a peek at it here. They also teamed up with shoe brand Jim Rickey to create their own range of trainers.

While their songs are well used to collecting awards – they’ve scooped every MelOn award they were nominated for – the guys are also becoming well known for their individual activities. Hyunseung has released two cracking tunes under the name Troublemaker, with HyunA from 4Minute. Yoseob has released some successful solo tunes and is playing the lead in the musical Zorro this October in Korea. And last but not least, leader Doojoon is a huge footy fan and he was made an honorary ambassador earlier this year for the Korea Football Association’s K League.
