Upcoming tvN K-drama ‘Dear My Friends‘ is being filmed in Istanbul, Turkey!
Actor Jo In Sung and actress Go Hyun Jung were spotted catching a plane to the European city earlier this week. It is rumoured that filming will take place in Slovenia and Croatia too.
The drama, scheduled to begin airing in May, is concerned with various characters of different ages and generations and about the friendships they form with one another.
You might be familiar with Jo In Sung from his roles in the dramas ‘What Happened in Bali’ (2004) and ‘That Winter, the Wind Blows’ (2013). While Go Hyun Jung is probably best known for her roles in the popular dramas ‘Queen Seondeok’ (2009) and Daemul (2010).
The series ‘Dear My Friends’ also includes appearances from other Korean talents including: Shin Goo, Sung Dong Il, Na Moon Hee and Yoon Yeo Jung.
It is great to see Korean television using European back-drops in their shows and hopefully the filming goes smoothly for everyone involved!
