Liverpool Sound City is renowned for opening ears to new artists and genres, and over the last few years, they’ve taken a particular shine to Korean acts – even teaming up with Korea’s infamous Zandari Festa.

This year is no different with the announcement of four Korean acts to hit the festival – all newcomers to Liverpool Sound City.

These acts are; SSINGSSING, Wasted Johhny’s, DIEALRIGHT and Swiimers.

SSINGSSING are a group where rock music meets traditional Korean vocals, whilst Wasted Johnny’s prefer to cut their rock with a little blues and DIEALRIGHT prefer a punk-rock rebellion. Swaying from the rock genre are Swiimers with their trance-like dreamy pop.

Each act is set to play on the big headliner day – Sunday May 28th. The festival itself runs from May 26th – 28th. You can grab a ticket for the whole weekend at £65 or just £35 for a single day ticket over on the official website (prices not including booking fee).
