The British singer Charli XCX, known for her hit songs ‘Boom Clap‘ from the film ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ and ‘Break the Rules‘ recently included GD in her top favourite list of artists alongside Justin Beiber, Calvin Harris and others!
The South Korean artist has also received recognition from Jaden Smith, who referred to GD as being his inspiration as he hinted that he is preparing to taking on a career in K-Pop in the near future.
The international star has also worked with Pharrell, who gave him a shout out in a video which you can see here. And even Rihanna had followed him and Taeyang on Instagram, which he posted a ‘Thank you’ post in response. It’s encouraging to see the crossover between the West and the East, even more so when music helps them to connect and to simply enjoy the creations put out into the world for anyone to listen to.
