It’s been said time and time again that BTS made history yesterday, being the first Korean group to have the opportunity to perform at the AMAs. It’s often easy to forget their journey all the way back from their debut days until the present day, given the onslaught of success they’ve been receiving over the past year alone. And while it would be an understatement to say that they have contributed largely to increasing game changer milestones for K-Pop, they’ve also proven to the world that that you don’t have to understand the language of the artist to feel truly connected – because as Poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow rightly once said, “Music is the universal language of all mankind.”
