Super Junior are back! This week saw the first group comeback in over two years, Black Suit.

The veteran S.M. boys are celebrating three members – Eunhyuk, Siwon, and Donghae – returning from their mandatory military service this year. Two members, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun, are still doing theirs.

Super Junior first debuted in November 2005, making this month their 12th anniversary. Since their first release Twins (Knock Out) they’ve released nine studio albums, six CD singles, and six live albums, plus a host of solo and sub-unit releases.

While they originally debuted with twelve members (and added one more!) some of the original members are now working on solo projects, or are unable to participate in promotions this time. Play features the vocals of eight SuJu members, but only six members are promoting the album formally: Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Donghae, Shindong, and Eunhyuk. Due to recurring injuries from a car accident the members were in back in 2007, Heechul is playing a less active stage role in this comeback.

The album Play topped the Korean charts this week and has also been performing well on iTunes worldwide, including the UK charts. It has 10 songs including the pre-release ballad One More Chance and a fun disco track called Spin Up!
