BTS are on a roll! Since winning the Top Social Artist Award at the Billboard Music Awards back in 2017, they have gone on to achieve many goals and awards. And now they can add some more awards to their belt as they have won not one but two awards at the Radio 1 Teen Awards!
BTS won Best Social Media Star and Best International Group! The competition for these awards included British artists such as Dua Lipa, and other big international groups like Panic! at the Disco. This achievement shows the growing love and support for BTS and kpop in the UK.
Though the group were unable to attend the show which was recorded today, October 21st – Army’s will be thrilled to see that BTS pre-recorded an acceptance speech which was broadcast on the BBC. You can catch the show and BTS’s speech on BBC iPlayer here.
