Westlife want a BTS collaboration!
The February 11th episode of ‘Section TV’ featured an interview with Westlife. The Irish group held an Asian promotion commemorating their comeback. They recently reunited for their 20 year anniversary.
The reporter mentions Kpop’s worldwide popularity, and asks the members whether there’s an artist that they’re interested in. Immediately, they answer, “BTS!”, saying that a duet would certainly be “awesome”.
Westlife are no strangers to the Kpop industry. For instance, they collaborated with BoA in 2002 for a special version of their song, “Flying Without Wings”. They had also been in talks to reunite on KBS’s “Immortal Songs” back in 2018.
