This week in February has varied considerably in genres, ranging from ballads to Hip Hop and typical boyband beats. BLACKPINK fans have also been treated to surprise solo release by Rosé as well. Let’s take a look at what’s been released this week below:

Kim Hyung-Joon of SS501 has released a full-length album, New Way, released on February 4. It features the title track “Why” and it’s instrumental version, alongside nine other tracks for this fans to enjoy listening to. The accompanying music video was also filmed in Paris, and given a pale atmosphere to help portray the feeling of the track well.

KHip-Hop fans should be pleased to know that Loco released his EP, Hello, on February 7th. It features collaborations that include Zion.T, pH-1 and more. The rapper is known for winning the very first season of the televised rap competition, Show Me the Money, on Mnet in 2012.

On the same day as Loco’s release, ONF have also dropped a mini-album – We Must Love. The group first released their debut track “ON/OFF” on August 2, 2017, holding their stage debut the following day on M Countdown.

In celebration of her birthday tomorrow, Rosé of BLACKPINK has released a stripped cover of Halsey’s “Eyes Closed”, showcasing her charming down-under vocals in full English. The track is currently only an online exclusive to streaming platforms such as Soundcloud and YouTube and is merely just over half of the original length of the song.
