BLACKPINK snagged a place in the UK Top 50 for the second week running!
As the official UK charts were announced yesterday, the 48th spot went to Kill This Love.
Although the girl group dropped 15 places, this is a huge achievement for them. It is the first time they have lasted two weeks in the UK Top 100. The only other time the girl group have achieved this is as a featured artist on Dua Lipa’s Kiss and Make Up.
The only other Kpop artists to have achieved this feat are PSY, with 55 weeks, and BTS with 3 weeks. Therefore, the achievement is extra-special to the girls as they are the first and only female Kpop artist to have achieved this!
If Kill This Love lasts another week, BLACKPINK looks set to match BTS and become the first Kpop girl group to last 3 weeks in the official UK Top 100.

BLACKPINK will embark on the European leg of their world tour next month, beginning with Amsterdam on the 18th. They will then travel to the UK, with Manchester on the 21st and London on the 22nd.
Congratulations to BLACKPINK!
