After the Holiday Land Festival was cancelled due to safety issues, British singer Anne Marie decided to put on a free concert.
At Incheon’s Paradice-City hotel’s Rubik Lounge, she staged a quick gig for the fans that were due to see her perform.
“We didn’t want you guys to go home without seeing us perform,” she said.
“Korea spread the word – No-one will stop the show.”
The concert was also streamed live on Instagram.
According to a video tweet, now deleted, Anne Mare expressed her disappointment with the festival’s cancellation.
She said that she “was told I’d have to sign an agreement where I would be liable for people’s deaths if the stage broke”.
However, she reappeared on social media a few hours later announcing that she had booked a room for an impromptu concert to make up for the cancellation.
