The London East Asia Film Festival is set to host their first-ever open-air screening this weekend. 

The festival screening will take place at Leicester Square Gardens with the Saturday being dedicated to Korean films. The events are fully accessible to all, and completely free – while ‘other exciting activities and events’ will take place at the same time to keep everyone entertained.

Saturday 27th July will be dedicated to four Korean films in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Korean cinema.

Saturday 28th July is dedicated to four Chinese language films: On Happiness Road (2017), A Lifetime Treaure (2019) with a Q&A session with Director Alber Mak and Bob Lam, Monster Hunt 2 (2018) and In the Mood For Love (2000)

Tickets for LEAFF’s ‘The Host’ event on a Thames river cruise are also on sale now.
